OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the OBA is to promote and advocate for the continued economic revitalization and development of Oakland through innovative policies and practices that support smart-growth and urban infill; that lead to livable communities; and that create mixed-income, mixed-use communities that reduce dependency on automobiles, and encourage safe, walkable streets. Our members are small and medium sized builders and affiliated trades and professions.

The OBA also exists to ensure the success of its members through mutual encouragement and support, and by advocating for policies, practices, and leaders that encourage the economic revitalization of Oakland.
